Overview

Manage the focal point, mid-year cycles, systems set up & configuration testing, HR & manager communication, training during the cycle and execution for North America Sector. Partner in the development of merit & IC ranges and budgets. Administer LTI & Pay Equity activities. Understands basic concepts of Total Rewards such as Differentiated Merit, Adjustment to minimum and Lumpsum. Data management understanding as well as good in Excel.

Responsibilities

Variable Pay Administration:

  • Configure the teams for bonus on the bonus tool and test the configuration for the population
  • Get the right access role
  • Validate the bonus eligible employee data
  1. Ensure that bonus teams are created for the BUs
  2. Verify the individual bonus on defined parameters (accuracy of employee data, bonus team, org data, bonus%, etc.)
  3. Share the updated bonus data with markets for sample check and make any recommended changes on the bonus tool
  4. Calculate the bonus received by employees’ basis guidelines received from FP&A and market TR
  5. Communicate to market TR for sample check of the bonus calculation
  6. Capturing employee life event that impact bonus payout (i.e LOA, new hires, retirement ..etc.)

Variable pay Validation & Verification

  • Verify the Bonus team 100% allocation for EIP/MIP eligible associates with relative HRBPs & obtain sign off, including the allocation off composite bonus teams
  • Create and calculate Bonus Accruals and align with Finance team
  • Review the 100% of the sector LG1+ EIP calculation and sign off to payout, flag any issues or errors to Corp Exec Comp or BU TR as needed.
  • Act as the POC for the Global Groups (R&D, IT, bonus assignment and validation)
  • Work with the BU TR to calculate the non EIP/MIP bonus using the local process in each market and local tool
  • Audit the Tool Setup with TR COEs to confirm the team score results post PEC memo release

Communication & reporting Payout Processes

  • Confirm to BU TR & Issue communication to line managers to proceed with communication of the BCS (bonus calculation sheet)
  • Act as the SPOC to communicate the final bonus payout to each market payroll team (vendor or local team)
  • Act as the first point of escalation for BSC, addressing HRBPs, Line managers inquires
  • Work with GTMs team to feed the Global Assignee tool (GA) with the expat bonus data for payout
  • Download & archive all the final bonus calculation sheet & provide access to the relative BU TR team
  • Support the BU TR during the bonus fall in/fall out process comparing the actual payout versus the accrual
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Must be able to influence teams, HRBPs, stakeholders and business involved in the process in a positive and strong ways to ensure alignment and agreement resolving any minor issues to ensure progress as per plan
  • Possesses an understanding of business strategies, culture, and work to achieve results. Able to execute work beyond the scope of his function and provide analysis and advice in non-routine, project-related area

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7-8 year’s work experience with at least 4 years in Total Rewards supporting North America, or other Global developed countries in a similar large scale setup (30K+ employee base)
  • Strong analytical, project management and program development skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including formal presentations and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Ability to identify issues, develop recommendations, sell ideas and implement the solution
  • HR Tools and technologies, especially TR tools proficiency required
