Applications to these opportunities are considered for all available Business Programs & Operations roles which may include the ones described below, depending on education level and/or location. To be considered as a student or recent graduate, you should be within 12 months of graduation or graduated within the last 12 months. MBA students should be within 6 months of graduation or graduated within the last 6 months.  


The Business Operations Program Manager is the center of excellence for cross-business execution performance, planning, and sales operations. This team helps scale execution, operationalize business & sales programs, and drive business, sales, and partner transformation that forward Microsoft’s business objectives locally.  

This role is responsible for leading, creating and orchestrating processes across all business groups within a Subsidiary. This means the Business Program Manager execute the role in the following areas:  

  • Plays trusted advisor and business partner to the Subsidiary leadership 
  • Ensures quality plans in place that lead to Subsidiary growth 
  • Takes action based on insights from internal execution 
  • Strives for excellence in project and process-based work especially simplification process without compromising outcomes 
  • Provides increased transparency and integration across all groups 


The BPM is a business partner that leads key decisions in overall Subsidiary-level business & marketing planning and governance. The BPM provides business insight that enable cohesive strategy and growth decisions and acts as trusted advisor.  


  • Deliver Business Performance Insight: Work across the subsidiary/area to standardize, simplify, rationalize, & organize reporting to improve local execution by driving analysis & insights to advise the leaders of execution insights.  
  • Drive Execution & Resource Management: Lead Rhythm Of Business (ROB) cycles, Planning, and Operational functions to scale, improve, standardize, and accelerate business outcomes. Resource management across areas such as Local Marketing, and marketing compliance. Drive process simplification without compromising outcomes.  
  • Accelerate Landing & Support: Improve ROB discipline and enable coaching culture via standardized meeting rhythms, reports, communications, & coaching frameworks  
  • Enable Cross-Business Execution Activities: Assist leadership to scale execution for cross-subsidiary


Skills & Knowledge 

  • Ability to work and build strong relationships with senior managers (required) 
  • Must have proven skills in financial, marketing and IT management  
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills, planning and organizational abilities 
  • Intermediate conflict resolution and negotiation skills (required) 
  • Must be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and negotiate and collaborate effectively; 
  • Highly analytical - ability to understand business metrics, customer and market trends.  

 MBA Candidates: 

  • Have completed a MBA program by the time of hire. 
  • Have a bachelor background in Marketing, Sales or Technology.  
  • Have no more than 6 months following graduation from their MBA degree program. 
  • Have no more than 7 years combined work experience prior to attaining their MBA degree.   
  • Experience in marketing, sales or technology 
  • Advanced level of English.  

 Undergraduates and Masters Candidates: 

  • Have completed the program by the time of hire. 
  • Have a bachelor background in Marketing, Sales or Technology.  
  • Have no more than a year following graduation from their degree program. 
  • Have no more than 5 years combined work experience prior to attaining their degree.   
  • Experience in marketing, sales or technology 
  • Advanced level of English
