Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for driving performance of paid media campaigns, with a specialized focused on search engine marketing for AEG Presents produced events. This individual will serve an expert in all aspects of paid search to advise on and provide strategy to drive revenue for national tours, festivals, regional venues, and partners. The Strategist is also responsible for marketing analytics and developing benchmark KPIs, while identifying new opportunities to test incremental impact and present insights to internal teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee paid search campaign execution, management, and optimization for direct response advertisement objectives to drive sales across all AEG Presents entities.
  • Develop and lead media strategy by working closely with marketers to advise on budgets, planning, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and business analytics teams to develop marketing tools and initiatives.
  • Prepare and present marketing analysis and visualization utilizing high volume of data.
  • Build targeting and keyword recommendations based on consumer insights, artist, genre, geographical, and platform data for tours and festivals.
  • Research and maintain current knowledge on marketing and data trends to develop and upkeep relationships with relevant media partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) Marketing, Communications or Related Field
  • 2-4 years Related Work Experience
  • Extensive experience with managing direct response and Cost Per Conversion focused campaigns
  • Experience with data visualization platforms: Google Data Studio, Domo, Tableau, Power BI is preferred
  • Experience within a media agency managing performance search preferred
  • Google Ads Certification and/or proven understanding of paid search strategy, execution, and campaign management
  • Expert level knowledge of SA360, Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics
  • Extremely data focused; able to analyze large volume of data and present findings; can follow a test & learn approach to continuously improve media strategy, campaign implementation and performance
  • Proficient in Excel: forecasting and reporting (pivot tables, financial models, multi touch attribution)
  • Ability to manage high volume of campaigns and reporting in fast paced environment
  • Proven technical knowledge and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Proficient in SQL is preferred
  • Paid Social, Programmatic, or other digital media buying experience is preferred
  • Knowledge regarding technologies used to support online and/or mobile advertising operations: ad serving, audience management tools, inventory applications, and third-party ad tags is preferred.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) skills preferred.

Pay Scale: $77,819-$117,908
