Essential Responsibilities

Customer Care Consultant supports also sales in pre-sales activities by installing and maintaining demo environments and acts as domain expert in providing answers to technical requirements.

Solving incidents in customer environment and escalating them if needed
Problem management
Help-desk activities: Case management, customer communication
Installing and upgrading demo and customer environments
Sales support: Tender responses to technical questions, demo environment preparation and acting as technical expert in pre-sales meetings
Customer account development and relationship management: mainly arranging and participation customer service meetings
Maintaining documentation about customer environment

Role Summary/Purpose

The Customer Care Consultant is responsible for help-desk and customer relations activities in GE Healthcare Digital’s High-Acuity domain including operating room management, anesthesia and intensive care systems. The role includes incident management, fulfilling service requests, problem solving and occasionally also installation and upgrade activities in customer environments.


Bachelor or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or other relevant education
SQL (Microsoft and/or Sybase) knowledge
Windows server experience
Strong problem solving skills
Willingness to learn customer working environment, technical environments and GE’s products
Significant relevant working experience
Fluency in Finnish and English languages

Desired Characteristics

Experience and knowledge about VMWare environment
Experience and knowledge about IT networks
Excellent communication skills
Taking actively responsibilities and drive problems to closure also outside own area of expertise
Willingness to work both individually and as part of the team
