Accor has a strong ambition: to reinvent the travel experience by emphasizing personalization and a strong brand identity. Achieving this is the obsession of the Digital Direction: a team dedicated to defining and implementing the future of the Accor Product Experience.

Attached to the Product Design team and under the responsibility of the Lead Product Designer Loyalty, you will be assigned daily to topics related to our loyalty program and our partnerships and business tools. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team (Product, Tech, business, UX content, Design system, User Research) and will be responsible for the experience, engagement, and usability.

Your mission: 

Define and justify a multichannel and intuitive digital experience with our product teams.

  • Detect weak signals: you collaborate with your POs or PMs and User Researchers to delve into and clarify user expectations and identify opportunities to seize. You must also capture and disseminate trends that we should draw inspiration from;
  • Embed design in our practices: you must advocate for the right approach within your squads and facilitate your team's work with a suitable methodology to design the best possible user experience;
  • Build and improve: you move from the still-evolving idea to a robust prototype. You and your team juggle between user tests, iterations on your work, and seek to improve what you do;

Your mission will also be, with the rest of the designers, to strengthen our posture and visibility.

  • Contribute to improving our practices and the team's efficiency (Design System, implementing a process…)
  • Promote Accor-made product design internally (presentations, demos) and externally (meetups, articles, publications…)

Your responsibilities: 

  1. Business & Strategy - Imagine and formalize the Design elements of the product strategy:
  • By understanding the business and user challenges in order to translate them into opportunities; By challenging and integrating business issues into your work.
  1. Discovery - Understand user problems and design the best possible experiences:
  • By framing topics with your PO or PM;
  • By de-risking opportunities through research - quantitative and qualitative - to identify and clarify problems and expectations (data analysis, interviews or user tests, etc.);
  • By formalizing all user knowledge in deliverables tailored to product stakeholders (personas, JTBD, etc.);
  • By exploring or designing different solutions supported by the definition of measurable KPIs, and brainstormed during workshops with stakeholders;
  • By testing and validating with users the selected solutions (user tests or A/B tests).
  1. Delivery - Ensure smooth and high-quality delivery by supporting the product team in delivery:
  • By being a key player in the quality of delivery through good collaboration with POs and developers (quality handoff, meticulous QA, etc.);
  • By using the Design System as a contributor and ensuring its coherence;
  • By staying tuned to user needs and ensuring continuous product improvement through appropriate analysis and research techniques (Analytics, A/B testing, etc.).
  1. Monitoring and continuous improvement - Streamline Design work:
  • By adapting your working methods according to the ambitions and deadlines of the subjects;
  • By having a global vision beyond your scope and taking into account all e-commerce;
  • By bringing your knowledge of new technologies, design trends, and changes in user behavior;
  • By enriching your thinking by benchmarking market references in hospitality.

Qualifications

And you? 

  • Graduated from a top Engineering or Generalist Business School, with a focus on computer science or a specialized Master's degree in Design.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with stakeholders from different departments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present analysis results in a clear and concise manner.
  • Mastering user experience design both strategically and operationally and being able to explain it to both expert and novice interlocutors;
  • Mastering the methodology and tools related to Product Design;
  • Having a successful experience of at least 6 years as a Product Designer;
  • Having experience in B2C Consumer and e-commerce is a plus; You are rigorous and organized, able to lead and prioritize team work;
  • Empathy, active listening, and pedagogy are keywords for you;
  • Proficient in Figma and familiar with using a Design System;
  • Fluent in English (presentations conducted in English)
  • Strong ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
