JPMorgan Asset Management Taiwan Institutional Business is looking for an ED/MD level for Head of Institutional Business based in Taiwan. The candidate  must be able to build up senior client relationships, , make business strategy and lead the team to drive business result; as well as actively manage a set of clients in accordance with client retention and incremental sales budgets. 


Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for business strategy, development and result, as well as incremental sales for Taiwan institutional clients, including  sovereigns, insurance companies, pensions, and corporates.

  • Lead the team to provide advice on investment strategies, products, and services, especially in alternative areas such as private equity and hedge funds

  • Responsible for actively managing certain names and accounts, as well as senior client relationships

  • Provide thought leadership, advice and engages with senior stakeholders and team 

  • Drives a robust risk/control environment, exercise sound judgment; act with integrity; protect our company, clients and customers


  • University degree is essential; CFA or CAIA chartered holder is preferred

  • 15+ years work experience in financial industry

  • Prior experience at team management on institutions business

  • Solid knowledge of investment products, market, and industry

  • Excellent product knowledge of alternative investments (hedge fund/private equity/property/infrastructure)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English

  • Good at communication and leadership skill to work effectively with all levels of the organization and across Lines of Businesses

  • High level of independence, energy and integrity; responsible and accountable; Respect for diversity of opinions and styles; Flexible in approach

  • Holder of at least one of local regulatory licenses: Senior Security Sales or SITCA Sales license
