Chip Manager, GPU SW
NVIDIA is looking for a technical software project manager to take chip projects from their early design phase to production. You are expected to drive an advanced shift-left methodology to ensure a successful chip design from a software perspective while improving production software readiness. Persons in this role will coordinate across a wide range of software, hardware, architecture, and marketing teams to ensure a successful program.
What you’ll be doing:
You'll have opportunities to collaborate between business units and development teams to scope key features to be included in a given chip architecture, and drive the software design of how to harness them
Drive the creation of various pre-silicon testing environments, ranging from fast/early simulation models to detailed emulation models
Crafting feature-phasing schedules and milestones to ensure a given chip program operates as efficiently as possible
What we need to see:
You should have a BS or MS degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related degree
5+ years of experience in technical project management
With your expertise with computer system architecture
Effective written and verbal communication regardless of audience or issue complexity
Dynamic decision-making in the face of complex challenges
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience with pre-silicon testing environments (simulation, emulation, FPGA, etc.)
Experience driving a chip program from start to finish
Experience with software/driver development
