Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of experience in professional services in an Enterprise Software or cloud company or similar experience in practice leadership or profit and loss (P&L) management roles in consulting or IT services industry.
  • Experience planning and executing scaled engagement with partners to meet or exceed business goals, and experience launching new Go-to-Market offerings.
  • Experience in partnership and channel models for cloud, SaaS, services and advisory programs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience engaging and driving development of SI practices with leading fast growth PE funded SIs.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and business leaders and ability to navigate sophisticated and nuanced business conversations.
  • Ability to assume increasing responsibility in a highly successful, fast-paced global organization.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and share talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Passion for practice development and delivery excellence with the ability to achieve quick results.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, presentation, and active listening skills.

About the Job

As a Global Partner Development Manager, you will build an intentional partnering motion reflected in a Google preferred approach adopted by target System Integrators (SI). The engagement motion will involve SIs developing and scaling their capacity and differentiated capabilities on Google Cloud. Taking those capabilities to market through intentional GTM motions with a focus on delivery excellence will drive momentum in Google Cloud consumption while continuously staying focused on excellent customer satisfaction.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$300,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for System Integrator (SI) partner strategy and roadmap for each segment that define partner journey and maturity with Google Cloud. Be responsible for partner capacity and portfolio planning in each cloud domain area (i.e., Infrastructure, Security, and Data and Analytics) to build capacity and quality in servicing customers needs. 
  • Establish success criteria, business metrics, and rhythm of the business to manage and drive portfolio outcomes with coverage models appropriate for each partner segment and journey. 
  • Engage with internal teams (e.g., Strategy and Operations, Finance, Product, Sales and Partnering) to ensure the engagement motion with Solution SIs is ingrained in the overall strategy and operations of Google Cloud’s business. 
  • Develop a SI motion that is pivotal for Google Cloud’s next phase of growth.
