Function:

The Site Controller is responsible for controlling all aspects of finance including financial planning & analysis, taxation, treasury and internal control, internal and external accounting and reporting as well as ensuring compliance with SEC, SOX, GAAP and local statutory.

This role is a managerial role reports directly to Global A&T controller, and functionally to factory GM.

Job Scope (Roles and Responsibilities):

Lead and drive collaboration across the factory with cross functional team and key stakeholders (Factory GMs, SCO, HR, Manufacturing) to achieve financial compliance, operational excellence and cost improvements. These include:

  • Manages team, conducts goal setting and performance appraisal processes to prioritize and align with overall company and function wide goals and objectives, coaches talent, and serves as an organizational resource
  • Drive all forecast planning/ updates monthly, quarterly and yearly financial budget and productivity planning, detailed analysis by sites performance financial outlook, risk and opportunities
  • Drive goal setting and forecast accuracy using strategic analyses and financial performance with factory GM and factory stakeholders for quarterly, annual and long-range plan forecast to aligns corporate strategies
  • Partner with Site SCO to drive & align factory demand output, resources and capex investment and requirement
  • Partner with Site HR to drive & align hiring and headcount with the demand output
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to drive A&T wide continuous improvement programs for cost reduction and productivity improvement
  • Partner with key stakeholders in driving A&T digital transformation projects to drive harmonization across the factory (CAMSTAR, LOV lots, S4 Hana etc) from user and process efficiency
  • Establish & maintain productive relationships with cross-functional partners, collaborating on shared initiatives, best practice sharing, and enterprise alignment & consistency
  • Analyze data and contribute to organizations strategic plan through meaningful insights, trend analysis and operations reports
  • Collaborate with A&T Finance team and internal stakeholders to further define A&T finance FP&A strategy, setting standard & direction, drive and execute one way of working, harmonious process and compliance

Job Qualifications (Knowledge and experience requirement):

  • Bachelor’s degree or above with Major in Finance, CPA certification is a plus
  • >15 years professional experience in semiconductor related work experience including 5 years in managerial roles with solid experience in accounting and cost management
  • Manufacturing industry and costing exposure is highly essential
  • Knowledge in Taiwan tax and custom is a plus
  • Strong finance operations and effective business partnering with the ability to support and influence factory and key stakeholders to achieving both business and governance goals.
  • Excellent communication in both writing & verbal and proven problem solving skills with the ability to interface directly and provide strategic advice with creative solutions for the local Management Team
  • Eye for improvement projects and strive to drive efficiency for processes
  • Numeracy driven with strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrates a strategic mindset and can execute to strategic plan
  • Self-directed; able to influence/manage across all levels of the organization both inside and outside the A&Ts
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, Excel, Power BI, Sharepoint, and system knowledge in SAP/ Product Costing & Analysis
  • Ability to flex and adapt to changing environment & requirements, roadmaps, deadlines etc
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin speaking (plus)
