Job Title:         Sr. Training Specialist

Job Location:  Chennai, India



The Learning and Development Specialist supports global L&D initiatives including The Conversations (our performance management program), Level-Up Leadership, global and local onboarding, as well as driving employee participation in training and development offerings online. This role supports the learning team by assisting with course assignments and reporting for our learning management system. As a member of the HR community, the L&D specialist supports local HRBs and recruiting team to support a great employee experience and assists local HR in supporting the new hire welcome program.

What you will do:
  • Partners with local leaders to understand the evolving training needs of employees.
  • Works closely with corporate recruiting and training departments to make updates and improvements to local training offerings.
  • Supports local leaders with soft-skill training, as well as on-site execution of lunch & learns, external training provider coordination, and local training initiatives as directed by HR L&D.
  • Build Collaborative Relationships with key business partners across functions
  • Are transparent and work to cultivate engagement in all aspects of your job.
  • Drive a cause in local and global audience and champion L&D initiatives and programs to local leadership and general employee population. 
  • Acts as a key contact for all on-boarding and new employee training, monitors progress, works with new employees when needed to coordinate on-boarding efforts.
  • Coordinates and tracks cohorts progress in onboarding learning path in LMS-Learning Management System.
  • Supports visiting and site facilitator’s/SME’s in training delivery as well as coordinating classroom bookings and set-up as needed.
  • Think strategically about employee experience as it relates to training and development and provide feedback and input to the L&D leadership team for future programs.

  • Outstanding oral presentation/facilitation skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive data.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment.
  • Displays professionalism through sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with some LMS preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated and comfortable working with deadlines.


Educational Requirements: Associates or Bachelor's Degree in HR or training/development/talent related degree preferred.
