ERM has an opportunity for an experienced leader to join our global consulting firm as a Partner focused on Contaminated Site Management in Taiwan.

More specifically we are looking for an outstanding professional who combines strong consulting, technical, delivery and client skills to help ERM foster and expand a network of excellent client relationships by driving outcomes that create tangible value for our clients. This role includes but is not limited to selling and delivering world-class services, leveraging innovation and technology on behalf of our client’s to solve their most challenging problems, recruiting and developing our next generation of leaders, and further advancing our reputation for safely developing and implementing remediation solutions.

ABOUT THE SERVICE AREA:

ERM’s Site Investigation and Risk Assessment (SIRA) Technical Community is a leader in using High Resolution Site Characterization to develop Conceptual Site Models that give a full picture of the contamination profile at complex sites, allowing more surgical and cost-effective remedial programs. ERM’s Remediation Management Technical Community applies expertise to address soil and groundwater issues by assessing, selecting and implementing the optimal remediation strategies based on site-specific conditions. We design the best approach to control human health and environmental risk, sustainability, cost benefit, efficacy of the technology and regulatory approvals. We are a leader in applying in-site remediation technologies, including bio, oxidation and thermal treatment. From risk characterization and asset valuation to the turnkey management of a project, our comprehensive offering helps to reduce risks, minimize impacts, control costs, manage scheduling, and unlock client residual value.

ROLE PROFILE:

Primary focus on strategic and technical consulting/leadership, delivery of complex and high profile projects, and direct client engagement/support with the goal of strengthening the partnership we are building with a number of our key client accounts. Based on the experience, qualifications, and unique strengths of the successful candidate, this role will include some combination of the following responsibilities:

  • As Partner-in-Charge, lead and manage major remediation/environmental construction programs and projects.
  • Play a key role in leading and expanding relationships with chemical, pharmaceutical and high technology clients working with other senior leaders in the firm to expand specific accounts within these sectors.
  • Build, grow, and manage a high-performance team, serving as a leader and mentor to consultants. Identify emerging talent and work with them to reach their full potential; ensure rising stars are nurtured, developed and given new areas of responsibility.
  • Support the growth and development of ERM’s Site Investigation and Remediation Management service area and actively collaborate with colleagues across the globe. Drive innovation within the technical community to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate ERM in the market.
  • Work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment to build ERM’s business, as well as to lead client and technical teams.
  • Meet business financial targets, overall project budget and schedule, client satisfaction/expectations, and internal and contract requirements.
  • Partner with Account Directors to actively develop commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities that result in significant revenue growth with target clients aligned with ERM’s global strategy:
  • Provide business value selling at the top levels of client organizations, raising the profile of ERM’s capabilities within key client organizations, to identify and shape clients’ needs for ERM services.
  • Develop new client relationships and expand existing relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice, excellent value, and quality service.
  • Maintain pulse on industry business cycles and prioritize sales efforts toward high-potential, top opportunities.
  • Manage capture efforts utilizing technical understanding to develop proposals, including written content, pricing, presentations, contracting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in engineering, geology, science, or related discipline required (advanced degree preferred).
  • Professional registration preferred. Certification in field (PE, PG, or similar registration) desired.
  • 15+ years’ progressive remediation experience in a consulting environment, working substantially with industrial clients.
  • In-depth understanding of contaminated land management challenges in Taiwan, and the companies operating in this geography, including existing relationships that can be leveraged into new business.
  • Business acumen to understand business risk and challenges, and recognize corporate opportunities.
  • Demonstrable track record in delivering multi million dollar sales results annually, including successfully winning large and strategic projects.
  • Offer an established reputation in the local or regional marketplace.
