Senior Account Manager



We are looking to hire an ambitious Sales Account Manager to help grow Experian’s business in Ireland (Republic of Ireland & Northern Ireland). You will be tasked with managing an existing database of accounts, renewing and growing those accounts, and identifying opportunities for new business upsells. A key focus of this role will be generating and securing new business. You will be selling the entire Experian Credit Services/Decision Analytics Consumer suite of products together with ID & Fraud solutions.
This is an exciting role with no two days the same and that will provide you with the opportunity to shape our propositions in strategically important growth sectors.Key Responsibilities
  • Be a self-motivated new business hunter who can deliver on Experian’s ambition to penetrate new strategic sectors whilst meeting short term revenue targets with accompanying tactical transactional sales
  • Navigate a complex sale, identifying all buying influences and using exemplary written and oral communication to articulate how Experian can assist them in resolving their challenges
  • Grow accounts through process led, consultative selling. You will ask the right questions which uncover our clients’ true requirements and sell services that help them meet their objectives
  • Grow accounts through stakeholder mapping and proposition alignment. You will be proactive in aggressively driving the full proposition of Experian services full proposition into new unknown contacts
  • Win new accounts through development of a deep understanding of your geographic sales area. You will identify your regional top prospects and develop an engagement plan.
  • Teamwork – you will work closely with your internal counterpart to develop a plan which will deliver solid growth, new client wins and ensures delivery against objectives
  • Develop and implement the strategy to engage with senior stakeholders and develop and grow new and existing business
  • Build quality relationships, understand clients’ business problems and identify opportunities to enhance and grow sales
  • Deliver agreed revenue targets across a range of products and services
  • Be a self-starter

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

Job Requirements and Qualifications


·Proven successful sales and account management history

·Continuity and progression within your roles

·Ability to build and sustain long lasting business relationships

·Valid UK / EU driving licence

·Possess strong questioning techniques to identify customer requirements to enable correct positioning of Experian’s products and services

·Deliver outstanding customer experience

·Demonstrate the ability to navigate a complex sale, identifying buying influences, their roles and degree of influence

·Write compelling client proposals

·Demonstrate strong oral communication

·Ability to negotiate effectively, combating basic procurement tactics and market pricing pressures

·Desire to develop within Experian


·Previous sales and account management experience in financial services, business solutions / software, or business and data Information industries
