Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled DevOps Expert with 8+ years of hands-on experience to join our team. As a DevOps Expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our DevOps processes and tools to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our software development and deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. DevOps Strategy and Implementation:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive DevOps strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Implement and manage DevOps processes and practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automation.

2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) scripts and templates for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Utilize tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning.

3. Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD):

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software builds, testing, and deployment.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.

4. Containerization and Orchestration:

  • Containerize applications using Docker and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes or other containerization platforms.
  • Optimize container environments for scalability and resource efficiency.

5. Monitoring and Logging:

  • Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to detect and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Utilize tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar for monitoring and log analysis.

6. Security and Compliance:

  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure DevOps processes adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Implement security scanning and vulnerability assessment tools into CI/CD pipelines.

7. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with development and operations teams to foster collaboration and streamline communication.
  • Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on DevOps principles and best practices.

8. Scripting and Automation:

  • Develop custom scripts and automation tools to enhance DevOps processes and tasks.
  • Promote a culture of automation to reduce manual efforts and improve efficiency.

9. Performance Optimization:

  • Continuously assess and optimize system performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

10. Disaster Recovery and High Availability:

  • Implement and test disaster recovery and high availability solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Plan and execute failover and recovery procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in DevOps, automation, and infrastructure management.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD pipeline setup and management.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Shell, etc.).
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and security tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications in DevOps and cloud technologies are a plus.
