Responsibilities

Leads, reviews and oversees the execution and individually performs Procure-to-Pay (PTP) accounting activities according to global accounting policies and procedures, agreed internal processes. Closely cooperates and supports Yara's Europe Business Services (EBS) Finance colleagues, local finance teams, other related internal and external customers in day-to-day activities processing. Drives alignment and continuous improvements within the processes.

  • Responsible for day-to-day accounts payable team's accounting 
  • Lead the team of accounts payable specialists in day-to-day execution of the process activities by ensuring high quality deliverables
  • Lead and manage team members performance and development, proper staffing and work allocations
  • Ensure team members engagement, development, sustain and retain employees
  • Lead, facilitate and perform talents performance and potential assessments, career and performance development planning
  • Advocate and represent team members interests
  • Process, match and code invoices, process payments. Monitor and clear aged credit reports 
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage their reconciliations. Manage banking account changes across all suppliers
  • Conduct month end closing and year-end closing procedures
  • Oversee and review internal and external audit procedures, initiate changes according to audit feedback
  • Train and educate new and existing finance colleagues (incl. other functions)
  • Timely and accurately document service-related business knowledge
  • Lead and ensure implementation of global accounting policies and procedures, agreed internal processes are implemented and followed
  • Ensure team's performance according to Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Profile

  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in finance, mathematics, statistics (or related discipline) is an advantage
  • Relevant and/or similar work experience within accounting field (minimum 5 years)
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written communication. Additional languages are an asset.
  • High-Proficient Excel skills and experience with SAP, HFM is a plus
  • Experience working with Procure-to-Pay process and AP accounting
  • People management skills

Offered Salary

We offer salary from 2674 Eur to 4011 Eur/month gross (before taxes). Final offer depends on candidate's competences.
