Overview & Responsibilities

Development and organization of the multi-lingual and multi-cultural field service operation to meet the profitability levels as stated in the company strategic plans.

  • Provide in-house structure to satisfy the multi-cultural and multilingual customer requirements and hire, train, develop or discharge the required personnel.
  • Provide technical and commercial assistance to the sales department during the development of multi discipline projects involving rerates, parts, repairs and field service.
  • Together with the HSE/Q Manager, development and implementation of health & safety systems to meet group targets, customer expectations and legislative requirements
  • Add value to installation contracts by establishing early contacts with contractors / users; provide support for apparatus sales customer meetings (final negotiations and / or kick-off meetings) to enable the field service operation to take an active role in enhancing the scope of supply of installation contracts.
  • Control and drive expense and contribution levels to achieve the most efficient operation possible.
  • Contribute to the strategic leadership of AP and provide input to the development of five-year plans.
  • Developing and maintaining of high-level customer management contacts.
  • Assist in the development and recommendation of strategic alliances (partnering) with other companies to enhance Elliott's Field Service position.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of long term service contracts that may require the set-up of local presences.
  • Ensure timely accurate forecasting information is provided to allow both the Field Service operation and AP as a whole to be proactively managed by the AP leadership team.
  • Responsible to present the financial performance of the FS operation to the Regional Director.
  • Ensure Elliott FS maintain the highest quality & safety standard
