JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the documentation, and assessment of company-wide processes, and the identification of process and technology improvements.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for analyzing business needs, identifying opportunities and proposing solutions, both to improve business processes and the design and use of information systems.
  • Document as-is and to-be business processes following consultation with SME’s, highlighting performance opportunities which align with business strategy.
  • Collect feedback from stakeholders and monitor the effectiveness of processes to identify areas for further optimization and enhancement
  • Facilitate the definition of future project scope, critical success factors, and deliverables by engaging key stakeholders
  • Develop Operating Manuals and business process flows, by through input from department stakeholders, combined with knowledge of general business process optimization / efficiency opportunities.
  • Consult with Business Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects and Functional Analysts to develop potential solutions
  • Define and describe the appropriate method for calculating key metrics
  • Understand and articulate end user impact of proposed changes
  • Analyze gathered data to transform into meaningful insights, such as cost benefit and project requirements
  • Improve existing processes and procedures by documenting current state and identifying opportunities to streamline
  • Effectively create and report data in an informative manner to executive committee
  • Support project management in the scheduling of future project phases and identification of risks
  • Contribute to the shared knowledge base of the organization by document successful approaches and tools to increase the maturity of our business analysis process

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Medical / warehouse background is a strong asset
  • Post-Secondary education in Computer Science, Accounting or Business or equivalent experience
  • Five to seven years direct work experience in business / process analysis capacity
  • Project Management Methodologies Training or Certification is an asset
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset
  • Familiarity with a change management methodology, such as ProSci, is an asset
  • Fully proficient in documenting business processes
  • SAP, or other applicable ERP, experience considered an asset 
  • Proven experience of working in fast-paced, dynamic environment
