Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Manager of Supply Chain Operations. This role is instrumental in driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout our supply chain processes, with a primary focus on utilizing and driving continuous improvement methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, a proven track record of implementing process improvements, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions): 

  • Evaluate and streamline end-to-end supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement within the supply chain and implement targeted solutions.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by implementing and facilitating Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies.
  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring sustained gains in performance and operational excellence.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement within the supply chain.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making processes to optimize inventory levels, enhance demand forecasting, and improve overall supply chain visibility.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and drive improvements in lead times and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers to ensure a resilient and agile supply chain.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, planning, logistics, and manufacturing to ensure seamless coordination and communication across the supply chain.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to drive cross-functional alignment and achieve common supply chain goals.
  • Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance supply chain visibility, automation, and overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies seamlessly into existing systems.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, SQDC, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) and experience applying them in a supply chain context.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with supply chain technologies and systems.
