Key responsibilities

  • Manage and handle Last Mile delivery operations for a region
  • Monitor and supervise field operations team to ensure that delivery operations are conducted as per the required SLA
  • Develop, optimize and manage delivery network across all locations
  • Formulate and execute strategies around growth plan, cost reduction and achieving profitability in operations
  • Undertake route planning, route optimization, order allocation and analytics around last mile operations
  • Ensure proper collaboration among multiple dispatch centers
  • Design plans and policies to meet increasing demand at the lowest delivery cost
  • Formulate, implement and execute several projects on process re-engineering and cost reduction initiatives, aiming at improving last mile delivery performance
  • Ensure proper coordination and collaboration amongst different teams within the organization such as retail, training, technology, customer services to drive on ground operations
  • Plan and develop manpower plans and conduct performance reviews. This will entail manpower planning, performance evaluation, formulating training and development programs
  • Set performance targets and take measures to improve different performance metric

What we require:

  • Graduation with 2-5 years of relevant Last Mile Operations experience
  • Logistics/E-Commerce background will be preferred
  • Comfortable with working for long and unpredictable hours
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to hire and manage a distributed team
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated and ethical. Should have a commercial acumen
  • Decision-making ability and a sense of responsibility
