BlackRock’s Trading, Liquidity and Investments Platform (T&P) team unites cross-platform investment activities with the goal of creating leverage, promoting global consistency and achieving operational excellence across the investment platform.
Within Investments Platform, the Aladdin Platform Team partners with investors and traders and plays a critical cross functional role in developing the investment and operating platform. The team combines strategy, business process and technology expertise to maximize growth, scale and operating consistency across Investments, with a strong focus on Aladdin.
The Aladdin Platform Team works with key technology, investment and business management partners to define and manage platform strategy and to communicate priorities to our development and operations teams. This often involves conducting business process and operating model reviews to understand platform requirements and ensuring the Aladdin platform continues to evolve to meet the key priorities of our investment teams. In addition, the team executes transformational change management projects relating to Aladdin and technology for the investment and trading teams.
The Aladdin Platform team is looking for an individual with strong relationship management and communication skills, an intellectual curiosity and a “get the job done” mentality. This person will be a structured thinker, have a technical awareness and be that person who is always looking to improve the current state. While strong project management skills and the ability to conduct business process reviews are preferred, these can be learnt as part of the role.
The candidate will be a member of a high performing team and expected to be respectfully anti-bureaucratic, to believe that good ideas come from all corners, to actively promote inclusion, diversity and creativity while remaining mission and execution focused.
