A day in the life:

Primarily the Pricing Dispute Analyst is to be involved in the resolution of Medtronic’s pricing dispute cases within specified geographical regions, across multiple business units. Secondly, executing root-cause analysis and proposing solutions.

Working as Pricing Dispute Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain good, strong working relationships with local and regional pricing contacts
  • Support resolution of pricing data related issues including preparation of necessary documents required to clear orders that are incorrectly priced as well as customer disputed invoices due to price discrepancies
  • Measure and report on the adherence to the department’s service level agreement with internal customers
  • Generate and publish agreed KPI reports on price disputes for each country and business unit on a monthly basis or as frequently as deemed necessary
  • Support and maintain regional processes, procedures and tools necessary for creating and maintaining high quality of pricing data
  • Review existing dispute resolution processes and make recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy, while adhering to company-wide vision and pricing strategies
  • Regularly communicate with country and regional contacts for any process related information and, or changes

Must Haves:
  • Spoken and written proficiency in English is a must
  • Spoken and written proficiency of French
  • Comfortable with M.S. Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Respectful and sensitive team player
  • Patience and self-control
  • Investigative mind-set
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Eagerness to collaborate with other departments and investigating how they operate
  • Understanding how to work within multi-cultural & multi-functional environments
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and change

Nice to Haves

  • Around 2 years of work experience within a Financial Shared Services Environment or Credit Collection, or a Process Maintenance related field
  • Pricing experience will be a strong asset
  • Experience in using SAP
  • Knowledge of pricing tools and, or systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in a financial, economic or engineering field
  • Lean and, or Six-Sigma methodology awareness
