Responsibilities

  • Provide Asia President and Asia Marketing and Communications Executive Director with actionable market and business intelligence insights that drive strategic planning and sales execution decision-making.
  • Compile Board/CEO-level documents on market and competitive dynamics in Asia
  • Drive action plan to capture the growth identified in market and business intelligence in terms product offering, pricing, and channels by chairing Marketing S&OP meeting.
  • Engage and coordinate with HQ and Regional teams to initiate the design and execution of market research activities, including car parc data gathering, market size analysis, and vehicle fitment data collection to provide business insights to drive growth.
  • Pioneer big data and automation to improve digitalization of the sales and marketing functions and drive data visualization and organization efficiency.
  • Collect and analyze car parc registration data by city and compile car parc fitment analysis to highlight growth opportunities.
  • Analyze data to understand market potential by product group to identify and communicate growth opportunities at city and regional level to guide sales team to prioritize resources to unlock growth potentials.
  • Support product planning projects with product portfolio analysis, car parc and fitment analysis, OE information and pricing data.
  • Monitor public sources to track competitors’ dynamics, including but not limited to capacity, M&A, product marketing and brand communication activities.
  • Facilitate monthly Marketing S&OP meeting to tighten the connections between marketing initiatives and demand creation.
  • Advocate the voice of the consumer and customer, market & product requirements in the product planning, development & launch process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in statistics or data science
  • Preferred 8 years’ experienced in market intelligence, research, analysis or strategy development preferably in an engineering, manufacturing or science environment.
  • Experience in implementing and developing market intelligence or knowledge management portals.
  • Able to travel.
  • High degree of comfort and skill in using analytical tools and systems
  • Good communication skills in English (to work with Global stakeholders) and Chinese (to work with vendors, customers and sales staff)
  • Demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.
