Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity, limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Integrates knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and revises existing system logic difficulties and documentation, as necessary.
  • Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
  • Identifies and assesses probable interactions of related computer systems and predicts impact of a change in assigned system.
  • May review proposals, including gathering facts, analyzing data and preparing project overview which compares alternatives in terms of cost, time, availability of equipment and personnel etc. Recommends course of action.
  • Functions as a liaison between the client, community and internal information technology and/or external software vendors to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems.
  • Interacts closely with a matrixed cross-functional team, both field and corporate, in order to secure alignment and solution excellence.
  • Creates clearly defined and mutually agreeable success metrics for each new system or process and establishes a plan to track, monitor and measure the success of those metrics.
  • Ensures data quality and integrity across data-specific application implementations.
  • Supports the testing team and business users in validating that the programs meet the requirements.
  • Leads/owns direction of the project(s) with limited guidance.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Additional Job Description:

  • 4+ years in a technical analyst or business intelligence analyst role
  • 5+ years of data analysis
  • 5+ years of Excel
  • 3+ years of SQL
  • 2+ years of implementing ETL solutions required, MuleSoft preferred.
  • 2+ years MS SQL Server Administration experience required
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with SQL Server backups, restores, and recovery models
  • Experience with SSMS, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS
  • Experience with CRM Analytics or similar data visualization tools, enabling the creation of interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards
  • Familiarity with media and telecommunication industry a plus
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, and Salesforce reporting a plus
  • Familiarity with virtual machine environments a plus
  • Familiarity with Azure SQL Databases a plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate preferred

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $101,151.07 - $151,726.61

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
