We are looking for an experienced professional to lead process optimization for our Global Digital Shared Services team. This individual should enjoy a fast-paced environment where they can affect the customer experience and be an instrumental part of expanding our foot print into multiple digital teams. This individual should have a passion to dive deep, strong project management skills, a focus on simplification and optimization and a high level of customer focus.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build partnerships and develop and drive site-wide improvements in Quality, Productivity, Customer experience and OPS/revenue generation by leading Gemba, & continuous improvement mechanisms to prioritize & execute opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities that support strategic priorities, generate pipeline, develop solutions, drive engagement, deliver compelling proposals and lead discussions to implement solutions.
  • Understand requirements of our partners and work closely with internal teams to guide direction of our solutions and improvements.
  • Partner to build content to strengthen continuous improvement mechanisms, train resources and mentor projects.
  • Key influencer in contributing to/leading strategic goals, roadmap and plans including idea scoping, business analysis, prioritization, robust planning and execution by writing compelling business proposals for a diverse audience (Technology, business and operational leaders).
  • Deliver savings according to the established target and create financial models together with finance partners to control and report on the deliverables.
  • Identify goals for the org to deliver benchmarking performance and continue to raise the performance of the programs.
  • Develop mechanisms to communicate - Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly reviews and device plan of action on improvements.

Should be Black Belt / Master Black Belt certified

A day in the life

Ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, have experience in building and executing strategies and driving process improvement initiatives. The individual will be conducting research, delivering insightful analysis, leading improvement discussions, and building relationships. They will work closely with various internal and business stakeholders to develop solutions ranging from automation, optimization and operations/marketing performance improvement. They will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, and ability to create a vision that includes goal-setting, strategy development, execution, and optimization. They will have the ability to influence key decision makers and drive consensus within various stakeholder teams.

About the team

We are a global shared services program supporting various businesses on strategy, planning & execution for content marketing & merchandising including deals & promotions, editorial promotions, content discoverability, Storefront marketing, GTM & new MP/product launches, and core operations activities etc., across multiple Amazon business teams. We have been successful in delivering value to partner teams by providing flexible resourcing, standardizing operations process, reducing costs, improving operational efficiency and automating manual tasks. The model helps the business teams to utilize the freed-up bandwidth to focus on other critical business priorities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience
  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
