We are hiring an experienced HR Manager to lead all People Operations in Wizeline’s Vietnam office. You will have a unique opportunity to be a self starter and work within a People Operations team that is viewed as instrumental to the company’s success. You will be working closely with the General Manager of Asia Pacific, the VP of People Operations based in San Francisco, and other team members to build and manage innovative people practices for an exceptional company.

You will be responsible for:

  • Being the single point of accountability for all People Operations for our Vietnam operations
  • Fully understanding our business objectives to design and implement HR plans and programs that are aligned to success metrics
  • Acting as both an employee champion and change agent who operates with empathy and a strong grounding in people management theories and practices
  • Forming and maintaining strong partnerships with all key stakeholders (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Facilities, Finance, Marketing, etc.)
  • Establishing and maintaining market competitive compensation and benefits and educating managers on Wizeline’s total remuneration philosophy and focal review process
  • Consulting on and resolving complex management challenges and employee relations issues
  • Providing talent management guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, performance management)
  • Analyzing trends and metrics (e.g., hiring statistics, employee surveys, attrition information) to develop solutions that are rooted in data
  • Managing all HR operations and policies for Vietnam, ensuring programs are launched and adopted and ensuring 100 % data integrity of employee records and payroll
  • Ensures full legal compliance (e.g. labor & tax laws, etc.)

You possess:

  • A desire to be part of a company with a strong sense of purpose and aggressive growth plans
  • Bias towards getting things done quickly yet collaboratively
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills with an understanding of how businesses become successful
  • Ability to plan ahead to achieve a strategic objective as well as flex in order to address immediate needs
  • A proven track record of strategic and operational HR experience within a similar industry and with similar growth trajectory
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
  • Experience working internationally, ideally with a company that has headquarters in Silicon Valley
  • People management experience
  • Ability to navigate around local employment practices and laws in order to implement highly competitive and engaging people practices
  • A background or education in business, finance, industrial/organizational psychology, or relevant field
  • Must be fluent in both English and Vietnamese
