Prospect Research: The Prospect Development Analyst provides information, knowledge, coordination, and tools that support Advancement in achieving its fundraising goals. Utilizing electronic resources and various reference materials, this position collaborates with other members of the University to create donor profiles, prospecting travel lists, travel briefs, and other written material for internal and external clients. The analyst's research informs prospect strategy and helps development officers move prospective donors through stages of the fundraising cycle.
Prospect Analysis: In addition to prospect research, this position provides reliable and timely qualitative and quantitative data and trend analysis that supports the strategic and tactical planning and operational effectiveness of key fundraising programs, including annual, major, principal and planned giving. The Analyst studies internal and external data and utilizes data mining and predictive modeling software to help
discover, analyze, classify, and strategically manage prospects capable of making philanthropic contributions to the University.
