Last Energy seeks a highly skilled Video Editor to join our Creative Team. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise to produce compelling visual content that resonates with our audiences. Your experience in video editing and motion graphics will be pivotal in crafting stories that are not only engaging but also drive our brand message across various platforms.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the post-production process, ensuring the final cut meets quality and brand standards
  • Develop and animate unique motion graphics and visual effects that complement and enhance video content
  • Collaborate closely with your creative counterparts to conceptualize and execute visually compelling narratives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to tight deadlines without compromising on creativity and quality
  • Maintain and organize digital video archives and ensure all work is backed up and stored appropriately
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video production, editing, and motion graphics, incorporating innovative techniques into your work
  • Provide mentorship and guidance on video production and editing to assist in the professional development of other Creative Team members

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional video editing and motion graphics
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator.
  • A robust portfolio showcasing a wide range of video and motion graphics work
  • Exceptional storytelling capabilities with a sharp eye for timing, pacing, and synchronicity within video and audio
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage post-production workflows efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate creative concepts and rationale to cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, preferably within a creative agency or in-house creative team
