Procurement Shared Services Center (PSSC) based in Łódź, Poland, is part of global Philips Procurement. Under the umbrella of Royal Philips, Philips Procurement manages and performs sourcing and procurement activities for (indirect) goods and services for Philips. PSSC acts on behalf of the Philips businesses, handling every step in the purchasing process – from demand analysis to final delivery. PSSC delivers value added services by leveraging economies of scale, globalizing processes and simplifying the ways of working, while delivering superior purchasing experiences by listening and acting on our customers’ feedback.

You are a part of the Global Commodity team, where a professional but fun workplace atmosphere is valued and a diverse multi-functional team will greet you. You will report to the Global Supplier Account Manager and work closely with the Supplier Account Manager responsible for the assigned supplier site.

You will be joining the Contact Manufacturing Services Cluster. The CMS Cluster is responsible for managing CMS suppliers regarding performance, new business awards, regular price reviews, standard reporting and market insights.

Your challenge is to drive supplier price performance through insightful information. You will be responsible for ensuring proactive and timely high quality analysis in the Procurement domain supporting the Supplier Account Manager in decision making. You will be an inspiring member of the team and constantly ensure deep knowledge and competencies are developed within the team.

Your Responsibilities:

•Construct and maintain current all pricing files for the assigned supplier site and implement all product changes.

•Negotiate quarterly pricing with the supplier considering materials, value add, any improvements, market and industry trends, exchange rates, revenues and risks.

•Deliver actionable analysis, reports, presentations and insight for decision-making and value creation, and drive performance management.

•Analyze, audit and implement savings initiatives according to the procurement savings guideline and explain findings to the initiative owners, supplier account manager and business partners.

•Participate in various improvement projects to support the business savings targets.

•Understand systems and tools. Ensure quality, accuracy and integrity of information stored in our systems, enabling a single source of truth.

•Support and drive for application of standard and automation of reporting solutions.

•Ad-hoc spend and savings reporting.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

•Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of professional work experience, insight on Supply Chain/Procurement/Pricing/Manufacturing is desirable.

•Proficiency in MS Excel is a must. Knowledge of macros, Visual Basic for Applications will be an asset.

•Fluency in English.

•Excellent analytical skill. Excellent negotiation skills. Experience with project auditing is desired.

•Results and action-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

•Ability to manage multiple priorities and internal customer expectations effectively and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

•Ability to work with virtual teams.
