Role purpose

This role will support our retail strategy and new store openings, and will be the first point of contact for all internal retail enquiries within Taiwan and global team. The role will provide administrative support and training to our Store and Retail Business Managers and initiate and complete a variety of projects, demonstrating a high level of professionalism. At the same time, the role will be expected to take an active role in building and maintaining key internal relationships whilst continually assessing, analyzing and improving many operational aspects of the business working closely with your manager.

Role responsibilities include, but not limited to –

Brand and Retail Marketing

  • Understand Aesop brand values and business objectives to plan and execute local marketing activities strategically
  • Monitor and analyze customer demographics and behavior to acquire recognize and retain customers
  • Plan and tailor all local marketing activities for offline and online activations in conjunction with the strategy, brand values, business needs and guidelines from the Global Marketing team
  • Work closely with Assistant Marketing Manager SEA, Store Managers, Retail Business Manager in the planning and execution of all marketing activities

- Product Marketing:

  • Manage product launches in the local market, including 360 campaign launches from planning to execution
  • Work closely with Retail Business Manager and Demand Planner to conduct new product forecasts
  • Work with Head of Marketing SEA and the Global Pricing & Forecasting manager to establish appropriate pricing for all new products
  • Propose successful local adaptations of the global product launches and campaigns
  • Retail Marketing & CRM:
  • Regularly analyse the brand’s customer demographics and behaviour and inform relevant teams in order to strategically plan for customer activities
  • Evaluate customer data for CRM programs, ensuring that the ROI and effectiveness of each activity is assessed within the context of the Aesop strategy, brand values and local business requirements
  • Work with the retail team to co-ordinate all in-store consumer events and retail customer engagement activities
  • Sponsorships:
  • Identify, establish and maintain relationships with like-minded partners to develop new sponsorship opportunities
  • Execute all sponsorship activities and analyse the performance to ensure that such events become progressively more effective
  • Work closely with PR agency to maximize exposure from each sponsorship

Public Relations

  • Work alongside Assistant Marketing Manager SEA to guide agency on PR efforts and communications to create brand awareness and the right positioning in Thailand market
  • Develop and manage Digital Advocates program including selection, engagement and collaboration to achieve set objectives and KPI; review results and provide analysis for improvement
  • Establish and nurture direct relationships with media and Digital Advocate
  • Guide agency on paid media spending related to digital advocate collaborations on different platforms to achieve KPI and high ROI 
  • Prepare assets and conduct Digital Advocates briefing for engagement and collaboration 
  • Manage paid media budget
  • Maintain media/PR and digital advocates’ reporting including results, performance, budget and other necessary records
  • Plan, execute and manage PR events together with agency and internal teams to achieve set KPI

What we are looking for

  • Solid experience working retail marketing, CRM and digital marketing
  • Experience working in digital marketing/ social media marketing agency preferred. 
  • Strong experience in offline marketing including retail, brand, PR and events.
  • Experience in working and managing creative agency, digital marketing agency and PR agency to manage content planning, asset creation, formulating and executing strategy, evaluating results and form recommendations. 
  • Able to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with several stakeholders
  • Proactive personality, independent worker, self-starter, frequently initiate and can proactively present ideas, suggestions and problem-solving
  • Highly analytical with solid communications and negotiation skills, strategic thinking and ability to explain logically
  • Strong financial acumen, competent to work with and manage budget. 
  • Must be able to use full functions of Microsoft office software including, excel, word, power point and office
