Reporting to the Vice President Global Marketing, the Sr. Global Marketing Program Manager will be responsible for providing the leadership, direction, and management for improving commercial go to market processes and execution:
Strategy, Planning and Execution
Overall project management for the CLD platform. Responsible for project managing the global transition to Tier One Automotive leader in the noise and vibration damping space.
Execute Functional Marketing OGSM and establish Key Marketing Performance Indicators and overall Dashboard.
Develop OGSM Project Charters for key Technology Platforms - in close cooperation with Market Segment Leaders - and apply disciplined project management techniques in order to ensure these critical projects remain on target & on time.
Monitor progress on critical Marketing & Technology projects, set corrective actions in case of deviation to the target, and escalate by critical actions and delays.
Model and install project management processes and discipline across the commercial organization globally.
Execute Market & Marketing Analysis - in line with our Marketing Functional Excellence principles, assess trends and developments, and report out on a regular basis.
A key commercial leader in the Business Intelligence roadmap assessment, development and enhancement.
Develop a global Price, Volume, Mix (PVM) Tool, and conduct regular analysis on our Pricing and margin Trends. Report deviations and work with the Regional Marketing Leaders in order to set corrective actions.
Provides support on integration activities for M&A.
Working closely with the ELS Director in order to align on Process & Tools. Apply ELS principles for Continuous Improvement for Marketing & Technology initiatives.
Train the Marketing & Technology Team on OGSM deployment and Project Management, and Coach the Team on applying these techniques.
Lead by Example by managing the key marketing & technology projects.
Train and Coach the Marketing & Technology Team in terms of the Marketing Functional Excellence (note: will be re-branded soon) modules and follow up accordingly.
He or she will elevate the division’s ability to execute Strategic Marketing and Technology initiatives through a disciplined process of project management and accountability. Will utilize project management techniques, market research and analysis. At the same time, will have strong alignment with our ELS focused programs, and ensure the continuous improvement programs are extended into our Marketing & Technology Team as well. Will utilize market and consumer insights to ensure the platforms and ventures we pursue are meaningful and sustainable. Will be able to function in a matrix organization and provide direction to the regional marketing leaders, the global segment leaders, and the regional technology leaders. This role will have a strong alignment with the Global ELS organization. The Snr Global Marketing Programmes Manager role will be part of the broader marketing leadership team alongside the regional directors, global segment leaders, and global communications lead.
5 to 10 years experience within project management and execution, preferably in a commercial or business environment. A track record of successful project management and execution in business related initiatives such as OGSM, business performance, or M&A projects. Bachelors in business / economics or technical area. MBA or equivalent preferred.
Role can be filled in Oegstgeest (NL), Turnhout (BE) or Painesville (NA).
