As a Sr. Principal Supplier Performance Specialist located onsite in Dulles, VA, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one.
The Supplier Performance Specialist (SPS) is responsible for measuring, analyzing and managing the performance of critical and non-critical suppliers in an effort to reduce cost, alleviate risk and drive continuous improvement. In addition, the SPS shall be a lead for the integrated product team (IPT) for a given product line. The SPS shall be accountable through the Global Supply Chain Program Management team to the program office for the schedule performance, risk mitigation and failure resolution and business relations with his/her assigned suppliers. He/she will be responsible for the overall management of the performance of the assigned suppliers. The SPS shall be responsible for the coordination of all internal matters in order to preclude redundant or ambiguous communication with, or direction to his/her assigned suppliers. SPS are not warranted by the company to provide any contractual direction to the suppliers.
This role serves as the primary interface between the Global Supply Chain Organization and key component supplier partners located in Dulles, VA, and the greater DC/Maryland/Virginia area.
The position is based onsite at our Dulles, VA office and offers a hybrid work arrangement. Frequent local supplier partner site visits are required to monitor progress, attend reviews, and participate in meetings. Additionally, up to 25% travel beyond the local region is required for other supplier partner visits, all-hands meetings, etc.

Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
