The European Operating Center located in Heerlen houses a team of about 500 professionals in Supply Chain, Warehousing and Logistics, Customer Service, Transport and Master Data Governance. A team of 120 Supply Chain professionals is accountable for Supply Chain Management for the entire Medtronic product portfolio containing over 80,000 active products, generating over 4 b$ of revenue via multi-channel sales concepts (B2C, B2B) and multiple inventory strategies (Direct Sales, Hospital Consignment stock, Local DC’s/forward stocking locations).

A Day in the Life

We offer you a position in the EMEA Network planning team as a Supply Chain Analyst. In this challenging role you will support the network growth and internal customer satisfaction of our local DC’s and FSL’s in EMEA by

  • Providing advanced support in the coordination of product availability in the local DC’s and/or FSL’s in line with the business Supply Chain strategies and processes
  • Driving inventory optimization via stock target setting, supply chain controls and excess stock identification
  • Providing hands-on support and coordination to the Supply Chain Planners in the local DC’s and/or FSL’s
  • Taking process ownership and driving standardization via continuous improvements
  • Assessing the internal customer requirements and needs and being able to make the translation towards system and process design for network and inventory optimization
  • Maintaining master data and Product Life Cycle coordination for the local DC’s/FSL’s
  • Working in close cooperation with different stakeholders: Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Regional/Local Supply Chain Planning, Customer Care, Logistics and Regional/Country business

Must Haves

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Logistics/Supply Chain
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management in an international environment
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel and preferably SAP/ERP)
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain Processes including KPI’s
  • Spirit of continuous Improvement and passion to win

  • Being able to build lasting relationships with colleagues in other departments and disciplines
