Job Description Summary

The Application Specialist will focus on supporting the clinical training and use of GE MRI systems. The Application Specialist may work individually at an account and as part of a One GE Healthcare team. An Application Specialist for MRI is responsible for supporting customer training for MRI products, and to support the GE MRI business for product and sales support.

Job Description

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Provide MRI application support to our customers, both new and installed base, including product training and protocol optimization to meet customer needs and ensure Customer Satisfaction. Primary focus will be to provide support to MRI customers in Vietnam, but also periodically support our users within the other countries in ASEAN.
  • Provide Sales support and training related to product and clinical applications, and also provide Orders support for the MRI modality, product specialists and country teams to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain good long term customer relationships, and high customer satisfaction while utilizing to optimum level resources in the team and GE business.
  • Organize product demonstrations, sites visits and follow up.
  • Support the Product Specialists in the MRI modality for the quote tender response and validate the tender documentation in collaboration with territory sales manager.
  • Communicate customer situation and dynamics effectively to/from the field including competitor data.
  • Communicate effectively with members of sales/marketing/service team to maximize all sales potential and communicates leads to relevant colleagues.
  • Generates and maintain customer profiles, including key decision makers.
  • Ensures knowledge of and compliance with Company policies and quality processes

Quality Specific Goals:

  • Knowledge and understanding of all Global Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare HIPPA Guidelines, and relevant Int’l Regulations, etc.) and operates within them to ensure that no company policy or Int’l / local Law is broken.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all Environmental Health Policies (including but not limited to GE Healthcare EHS Policies, etc.) and operate within them to ensure that no company policy or Int’l / local Law is broken
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines and identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
  • Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, work instructions, and procedures to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.

Required Qualifications:

  • Clinical Radiographer background with experience in MRI, 2+ years experience.
  • Application experience of MRI equipment, preferably in GE MRI systems
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills and working as part of a dynamic team environment.
  • Knowledge of regional market place and dynamics
  • Strong communication skills, Verbal and Written.
  • Fluent Vietnamese and English. Additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Vietnam and periodically within ASEAN
