Partner Success Lead - Vendor Hotel Account Management EMEA

The Partner Success Lead responsibilities include the adoption and delivery of our operational playbooks supporting our external vendor sites. They work closely with the regional Vendor Manager to ensure the delivery of our high quality and KPI standards. They support continuous improvement efforts, leveraging proven methodologies and tools. They partner with both internal and external stakeholders as a subject matter expert within the lodging space (Vendor Hotels).

The core focus for this position is ensuring that our external teams of Partner Success Associates actively engage lodging partners, educating them on how to get the best from their partnership with Expedia Group, while also consulting with them on commercial topics to create more value and help our supply partners improve their marketing potential with the broader Expedia Group marketplaces

What you’ll do

  • Support new hire onboarding and training.
  • Support delivery and implementation of new internal business initiatives, tools, and processes to external sites.
  • Ensure our strategic objectives and revenue goals are met by supporting external sites and ensuring operational hurdles are remedied efficiently and effectively in liaison with internal tech and support teams.
  • Support our growth culture through specialist proficiency, skill enablement and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with external sites on onboarding and coaching of new team members to deliver our high standards of support to our lodging partners.
  • Weekly and monthly monitoring of partner interactions to ensure collaboration and adherence to quality standards, and partner needs.
  • Influence a culture that heavily relies on the account management cycle & provides recommendations for improvement.
  • Improve team efficiencies & effectiveness by developing skills & strengthening capabilities of site delivery in partnership with onsite leadership teams.
  • Actively support productivity monitoring and adherence to performance standards and processes.
  • Lead performance recovery sessions with local onsite leaders and associates to improve delivery of KPI’s and quality standards.
  • Serve as an escalation path for external partners on sensitive supplier inquiries.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of service delivery processes and playbooks, expect the ability to perform the online job duties as necessary at any given time as subject matter expert.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and input on progress & challenges to Vendor Manager.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree; or equivalent related professional experience (Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or Business Administration is a plus but not required)
  • 2+ years’ experience in commercial delivery
  • Prior hotel revenue management or sales experience is preferable
  • Language Proficiency required in English
  • Able to work independently as well as be a strong teammate, always seeking to improve team and organizational performance
  • Ability to provide feedback, coach and mentor a diverse and geographically fragmented team, effectively managing performance and mobilizing team and resources to achieve or exceed set goals
  • Outstanding analytical and strategic thinking skills, including demonstrated general problem-solving skills and a driven curiosity to identify trends and ensuing business needs
