The Oracle Social Cloud Operations team provides 24/7 technical assistance for managing the Oracle Social Cloud Production application platforms.

Businesses that use social relationship management (SRM) software effectively uncover customer insights that enable them to deliver relevant content and faster service across channels like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Weibo. Social cloud tools allow brands to listen, create, and engage at the speed of social with the consistency and transparency customers expect.
As a member of the Clouds Operation team, you provide strategic technical assistance in the resolution of complex incidents affecting customer services. Will coordinate all efforts with other teams and document all actions taken.
You will also work the development team in the deployment of new application releases.
The candidate participates in the design, developing and deployment of new monitoring tools, and contribute and the tuning and scripting of the existing ones.
You will take an active role assisting and mentoring other members of the team to strength their technical skills.
We are looking for experienced individuals with a BS in Computer Science and over 6 years of experience in a wide range of technical skills:
Linux OS, System administration
Ruby on Rails,
Programing languages: java, C, C++, C#
Scripting languages: ant, shell, perl, python, …
MySQL or PostgreSQL
Advance troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve complex problems

Manage the Production and Pre-production Social platform during IDC and US hours
Provides technical support for issues affecting the Social platform (Hardware/OS/Application)
Monitors the Social platform to identify and/or prevent incidents
Design, implement and maintain monitoring/config tools
Coordinate with other teams all efforts to keep the Social platform stable.
Work with Oracle*s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle*s global infrastructure.
As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
