Why this role is important to us

SimCorp’s team of passionate technical writers is committed to creating high-quality, user-centric documentation for our investment management solutions and services. The team continuously develops and improves its own content management policies and procedures. Their output is the main source for your work as our new Senior Technical Documentation Translator. Their supportive team spirit will ensure that you get help and information as needed.

You will be working across our agile software development teams and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to gather information in order to complete the system translations. The development teams and the user documentation team are located in Denmark, Ukraine, UK and Germany. You will be working in a truly international environment with virtual collaboration.

  • Keeping the content of existing translated documents up to date and checking the builds for errors.
  • Completing translations in line with the release cycle (4 releases per year)
  • Finding solutions if technical issues arise with the different programs used

What we value

Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to excel at several of the following skills and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.

  • Excellent written and oral language skills in German (C1) and fluency in English
  • Several years relevant work experience as a translator or technical writer in the financial industry, a software development organisation or translation agency

  • Open to IT-related matters in connection with documentation and in-house developed programs
  • An autonomous and accurate approach in your work
  • Knowledge about AI applied in translations would be a plus

If you join us as our new Senior Technical Documentation Translator, we will

  • Pair you with an experienced translator to support your onboarding
  • Empower you to take over the translations on your own responsibility
  • Show you how to succeed with our sophisticated content management tool chain
  • Support your professional development and foster your curiosity
  • Enrol you to our comprehensive introduction program for new joiners including part of the SimCorp Dimension® Academy, an introduction to our world-class solution
