This job is home-based position, with possibly having an office at a U.S. Bank that houses Commercial Bankers. We are hiring for our Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas and Scottsdale markets!
 
Elavon is currently seeking  eCommerce Business Development Managers who will be a part of the Global eCommerce Team.  The eCommerce Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new revenue from eCommerce merchant opportunities with mid-market size businesses.  We are seeking to filling these positions in any major metro area of the USA.
 
Job Responsibilities
This role is a combination of generated leads from US Bank Commercial Bankers in assigned market, non-bank partners, and self-generated leads. Some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Engage with product teams to help drive strategy
  • Build relationship with bankers, ISV’s and other lead sources to drive leads 
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close
  • Develop profitable new business account relationships
  • Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services;
  • Make sales presentations to existing and prospective clients;
  • Responding to RFP’s
 

Qualifications

 
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 5-7 years of sales experience in the Payments Industry and Financial Services Industry
  • Travel required (20%)
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Passion for innovation, emerging technology
  • 3+ years of sales experience in the Payments Industry and Financial Services Industry
  • Experience in a client facing role selling and/or supporting complex enterprise software, technical or financial services
  • Experience selling eCommerce solutions in the merchant card industry
  • Experience selling in the Mid-market or national space
  • History of exceeding quota
  • Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
  • Strong consultative sales skills
  • Creative deal closer
  • Ability to understand complex requirements and devise customized solutions
  • Ability to build strong pipeline with profitable opportunities
  • Solve complex needs and work across internal teams including risk, operations, product etc. 
  • Relevant network is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent marketing and business development/sales skills
