This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Control Room operator to join our Singapore Business Unit.

Job Purpose

  • Real-time monitoring of the solar plant performance via SCADA and other control systems such as the inverter smart IV curve monitoring.
  • Check and respond to system alarms, warnings and faults.
  • Identify trends or anomalies in performance data.
  • Diagnose issues remotely and escalate to field teams if needed.
  • Responsible for log incidents and operations and maintenance activities reporting
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance of the plant with the Grid Operator regulations.
  • Suggest operational improvements or predictive maintenance actions.

Expected:

  • 3 years’ experience in Control Room Operations (solar or other power/utility plants).
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Power Engineering.
  • Training in SCADA operations, solar PV fundamentals, and basic electrical safety/LOTO.
  • Ability to interpret alarms, SCADA data, and grid-related signals.
  • Experience monitoring real-time performance, logging incidents, and analyzing alarms.
  • Strong reporting skills (daily/weekly/monthly energy generation, incidents, alarms).

Preferred:

  • Experience in solar plants or power utility sites
  • Familiarity with CMMS and advanced Excel/data analytics.
