Our Federal Division of Broadcom has a significant footprint across Government and Defence with many of the large Departments having key investment in Broadcom Symantec Security, Mainframe and Enterprise Software solutions. We are looking for a self-starting Solution Architect that will work closely with our local Account team to help our most valued clients achieve their key business outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Solution Architect who likes to challenge the status quo and support customer innovation. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a Company that is dominating in the technology industry.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Undertake technical research, develop documentation and perform customer presentations.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Account Director and wider Account Team to pursue sales opportunities to achieve shared financial targets.
  • Understand customer challenges and align Broadcom’s technology with customer drivers, showcasing the technical and business value.
  • Work closely with the Customer Success Manger to strengthen the customer relationship and earn trusted advisor status.

Requirements

  • Australian residency/citizenship preferred 
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or Computer Science would be ideal
  • Technical architect or Enterprise IT related experience
  • Proven network in Government and Defence
  • Customer facing / consulting experience
  • Contributed to client RFP/RFI/RFQ responses 
  • Exposure to: 

o Security (Network, Endpoint and Cloud - Symantec Preferred) 

o DevOps, CICD, automation enabling technologies

o APIs 

o Mainframe infrastructure or software solutions

o Application implementations (CA applications would be highly desirable)

  • Demonstrated technical writing skills
  • Understand the translation of business issues/challenges into technology solutions
  • Strong technical knowledge across the industry and awareness of industry trends
