Brief Description:

A Senior Manager-Operation is responsible to lead a team that focuses on Production Planning, Capacity Planning, NPD, Daily, Weekly & Monthly production adherence. This role is responsible to meet on-time delivery of customer orders at economical cost with best lead-time as per market requirements with agreed service Levels. Responsible for overall management of Coupling Manufacturing Plant.

Job Description (JD):

Coaches and builds a team. • Demonstrate accountability for long-term planning of production requirements. • Capacity Planning and Production Planning in manufacturing environment with SAP. • Continuously work to minimize items on Back Log Orders with planning • Conduct Daily Meetings with cross functional team and establish a process with transparent information flow on order progress and status of customer orders. • Manage inventory levels in line with fiscal year budget. Managing inventory levels to optimum levels to achieve balance between Demand and Supply. • Interact and manage Intercompany orders with Internal Global Group companies. • Support management team with all required reporting of data analysis and prepare reports, ready for management presentations, in clear and concise communication methods • Capex planning, Plant & Machining Line Layout, machines & equipment, utilities, material handling planning, installation & commissioning, runoff trials, run at the rate, Process capability & capacity establishment with Lean Concept. • Machining cost Estimation, APQP planning, CNC Process planning, cutting tool & Machine selection, Fixture designing & manufacturing, Gauges designing & Manufacturing, Prototyping, PPAP, Process documents, Process capability and capacity establishment. • To organize, coordinate and lead the operations activity by providing strategic guidance to Cross Functional Team , management and key decision makers • Resource planning to meet the Production goal - Manpower, cutting tools , Fixtures , Machines & other consumables • Monitoring OEE on daily basis - Production , Rework / Rejections & Machines uptime • Engage the team for continuous improvement through implementing RBS • Resolve issues (Production , Quality , delivery ) with analytical and logical approach through respective tool & end - to - end closure of open action items • Strengthening production team by providing training to improve the skillet (dependency to be removed ) • Ensure the system adherence on shop floor through proper understanding of the requirements - 6S , EHS , EMS , QMS.

Job Specification: (Education, Training and Experience) :

Degree in Mechanical Engineering. • 15 to 18 years’ Experience in Manufacturing Industry based experience in MNCs. • Broad supply chain knowledge in manufacturing. • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and experience with SAP systems is essential. • Experience in Lean Production Systems and concepts, experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes. • Sound knowledge of CNC Turning , HMC , VMC , Grinding , SPM , Induction hardening, Surface treatment. • Through knowledge of NPD tools APQP , PPAP , Stage gate , PFMEA , Control plan, SOP,WI • Knowledge of types of materials forging , casting , material composition + forging and casting processes press , moulding • Sound Knowledge of CNC programming, setting of turning , HMC , grinding , broaching • Sound Tooling knowledge - cutting tools , inserts , grinding wheels , broaches • Knowledge of problem Solving tools – 7QC, Six Sigma • Implementation of POKA YOKE & engineering Control processes as per internal & external customer requirements • Undergo the process audit of internal & external customer & compliance with countermeasures if any. • Hands on experience of implementing -Lean manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, QCC, SPC, SMED, VSM, MOST, QMS, EMS-OHSAS.

Result oriented, highly developed People Management skills, must be able to manage the teams effectively. • Strong interpersonal skill, collaborative and executive presence. • Ability to communicate effectively through presentations, email, one to one and team discussion. • Must possess conflict resolution, problem solving, decision making and negotiation skills. • Must have strong business knowledge, experience, must abide by strong business ethics and integrity. • Sound communication skills, both written and verbal, Multilingual (English, Hindi and Telugu) • Must be able to effectively communicate with Cross functional Teams and across all levels. • Ability to multi-task and handling competing deadlines.

LOCATION: Regal Rexnord Euroflex Hyderabad Office.

Incumbent will be appointed on the rolls of Euroflex Transmissions India Private Limited.
