This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the VP of Global Supply Chain (GSC) Strategy.
In this key strategic role, you will be helping to create and implement new supply chain processes that will help support the next phase of Applied’s exciting growth. This is an opportunity to work both inside Applied, and outside with Applied’s suppliers in defining and implementing a variety of new initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manages multiple Global Supply Chain strategic projects including:
1. Supplier Capacity Management Tool (CMT) rollout and enhancements including short, mid and long term capacity funtionality. Measure supplier responsiveness and esclate to SAM's as required.
2. Supplier Cybersecurity program including all aspects of supplier participation and protection including rollout of new contract terms. Participate in established cross functional team internally, and developing Semi Industry standards setting externally.
3. Supply Chain focal for Chips Act including internal and external (supplier) funding projects.
4. Assist with integration of Implant business unit. This includes assisting in the adoption of common supply chain processes, enhancement of existing processes,

Ensures that specific project and program objectives are defined for areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed to allow for effectiveness and focus during later stages of completion.
Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion.

Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety.
Ensures that the utilization of all material and financial resources is carried out in an effective manner.
Effectively assigns work to subordinate staff, providing for professional development in addition to maximum productivity for the area.
Spearheads research and development of new technologies, as appropriate, and ensures that newly created processes, designs, and/or methodologies are incorporated into Applied Materials products/services, and/or disseminated to other areas as needed.

U.S. Salary Range:
$168,000.00 - $231,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
