The Job:

As a Sr Digital Coordinator, you’ll be part of our Corporate Information Technology team working as a remote employee. Stanley Black & Decker is looking for an inspired, proactive, and experienced (Senior) Digital Coordinator to collaborate on digital technology projects from ideation to deployment. The ideal candidate lives and breathes digital, has a passion for new technologies and strong experience launching projects in partnership with multi-disciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.

This position requires direct interfacing with the following teams: Digital Technologies, Product Experience Management, Digital Asset Management, Customer Experience, Digital Development, Global Customer Experience, eCommerce Content, Global eCommerce, and other project contacts across the PMO, product, brand, and marketing.

This position will represent Digital Technologies at all program reviews, developing and presenting status, data, metrics, and charts. The Senior Digital Coordinator will be responsible for developing mechanisms for monitoring project progress, including cross-team dependent deliverables.

You’ll get to:

  • Lead the project teams by keeping upcoming tasks and activities in front of them; coordinate day-to-day activities of the projects and report status in a timely manner
  • Lead projects using Agile as main framework; interacts with enterprise team tools and procedures (e.g. waterfall)
  • Own specific elements on a project plan e.g., timeline, risk, communication, reporting
  • Track and report performance metrics, action items, issues and risks to ensure process consistency
  • Proactively monitor project resource needs, barriers, constraints, obstacles, risks, dependencies, and issues; resolve in a timely manner, escalate as appropriate.
  • Coordinate all project deliverables
  • Facilitate and drive project collaboration
  • Manage expectations and drive questions and issues to resolution
  • Respond to queries from stakeholders related to project management deliverables. Create, maintain, and update project documentation as assigned by program manager
  • Assist in information gathering, budget analysis, project estimating, and procurement activities.
  • Conduct program kick-off calls with internal resources and business to set scope, plan, expectations, and milestones to deliver services within program scope.
  • Lead regular project meetings regarding the delivery of services and requests for delivery of services to stakeholders
  • Manage client expectations by providing meaningful updates to business and cross-departmental clients
  • Develop and present options in a concise manner when roadblocks are reached.
  • Negotiate compromises while representing the best interests of the program(s).
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal staff and vendors to ensure effective communication with all related functional areas.
  • Assist in other areas of the department and company as necessary

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Team leadership skills
  • Experience with Agile project management Framework
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Monday, Asana, Microsoft Project or other project management software
  • Demonstrated track record of successful execution of global technology projects
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • PMP certification (desired, not required if matched with experience)
  • Over 7 years of experience of digital leadership experience in a multinational global company
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Sciences or related fields
