About the program
PPG HR Interns have the opportunity to impact real business issues through the implementation of value-added HR solutions as well as gain valuable experience through exposure to various HR functions. Interns will interact with an array of PPG employees from talent on the production floor to senior level management, depending on the location. Successful candidates must be results oriented, excellent communicators, and team players who demonstrate well rounded social, professional, and academic success.
Typical Assignment after Internship
Outstanding performers will be considered for future internships or full-time employment upon completion of their degree. Additional internship opportunities may include assignments with other PPG businesses or in different areas of HR like our Center of Expertise. All internships will last 10 -12 weeks and continue with real business challenges experiences.
Full-time opportunities may include HR generalist or specialist positions, as well as positions in a rotational program. Rotational assignments are typically 12-24 months in length and include strategically selected locations and projects to maximize development. Rotations may include assignments in a business unit, center of excellence, corporate setting and international location. The goal of the rotational program is rapid development in preparation for an accelerated career path into leadership positions within PPG’s HR function.
Ability to relocate is fundamental to a progressive career with PPG.
