Job Summary and Responsibilities

Acentra Health is looking for an Program Manager to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

  • The selected candidate will typically work Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern **

Responsibilities:

    • Lead cross-functional teams to implement operations in the federal health care space; support other company initiatives/projects as needed
    • Develop and deliver documentation including (but not limited to): Project schedule, executive and customer status report, risk management plan, communication management plan, customer meeting agenda/notes, internal meeting agenda/notes, business requirements documentation
    • Review and support operations' development and submission of written project deliverables; obtain all necessary customer sign-off
    • Evaluate and support project readiness for project go-live
    • Manage issues and risks; work with the team to develop mitigation strategies, drive issues to resolution and escalate to senior leadership as needed
    • Develop operational and technical/system process workflows for new business opportunities incorporating operations, technology, and reporting
    • Write business requirements for technology configuration, BFCC QIO websites, reporting; lead sessions with operations and technical teams to support development of thorough requirements
    • Support user acceptance testing, often bridging the gap between IT and Operations
    • Develop and analyze weekly performance metrics
    • Oversee User Acceptance Testing activities for the program, providers continuous improvement strategies, methodology, techniques, and data analysis
    • Utilize project management skills to successfully support other priority projects

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Requires 5 years' professional experience with similar work – Project Management of health care projects and implementations across a matrix organization
  • Experience with health care and medical management which may include health plan operations, utilization management, case management, claims, health care start-up, and/or health care services
  • Experience with process mapping, operational and system configuration business requirements and user acceptance testing
  • Lean Six Sigma certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in clinical, allied health, business, public health, public administration, hospital administration, health care administration, business administration, or technical field; master's degree preferred
  • PMP certification strongly preferred (must be eligible for and willing to obtain PMP within 6 months of employment)
  • Ability to think end-to-end and solve problems along the way
  • Familiarity with project management standards and industry best practices, including PMBOK
  • Adaptability to handle multiple diverse project types simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate successfully with project teams, lead customer meetings, and present executive status reports
  • Technology acumen – ability to learn Acentra Health's systems and processes in support of designing solutions/workflows necessary for a new operation

Pay Range

USD $96,800.00 - USD $121,000.00 /Yr.
