Position Summary

In your role as a Logistics Systems Professional you'll be responsible for actively supporting engineers through discovery, testing, and documentation, while supporting the implementation and enablement of system projects.

You'll also serve as a liaison and advocate for the Logistics sections, collaborating with supervisors, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless integration of process and systems improvements through documentation and testing.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Assist engineering teams with hands on testing, validation, and rework of systems and process improvement projects.
  • Capture test data, analyze deviations, recommend corrective actions, and maintain accurate records to support engineering decisions.
  • Translate complex engineering workflows into clear, actionable SOPs, audit checklists, training manuals, and project hand offs for the broader logistics organization.
  • Update and maintain documentation in a centralized format (e.g. Confluence) ensuring version control and accessibility.
  • Work directly with Ops, Shipping & Receiving, and other logistics stakeholders to coordinate the rollout of project deliverables.
  • Design, develop, and deliver training sessions, workshops, and enablement materials for new systems or process changes.
  • Coordinate on vendor provided process or system updates that impact logistics operations.
  • Collect, analyze, and report key performance indicators related to new initiatives, feeding insights back to engineering for iterative refinement.
  • Document lessons learned from each project, proposing improvements in testing protocols, documentation, or training delivery.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps, evaluating systems, equipment, and workflows, and executing improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, and Word to analyze data, develop reports, prepare executive level presentations, and support decision making.
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support logistics operations.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • College degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years in Supply Chain.
  • 1 or more years experience in international shipping and customs clearance a plus.
  • Experience with enterprise systems and cyber-security knowledge a plus.
  • Military service and education in similar field may substitute for education and work experience requirements.
  • Strong understanding of shipping/receiving processes, warehouse operations, and transportation logistics.
  • Skilled in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of data and provide issue resolution to closure.

The current base salary range for this role is between $57,760 - $156,950. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
