DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, design, develop, and document (within a specified deadline) new feature functionality for our software applications per customer or internal specifications (using commonly used Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, LWC, force.com)
  • Perform hands-on prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and process design and development tasks as required in support of current and new projects in Salesforce domain.
  • Administering, Developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve current processes.
  • Creating and managing custom objects, field, formulas, reports and dashboards.
  • Developing connections/integrations with other systems.
  • Managing a Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud instance.
  • Ensure that technical documentation is created and updated for the operational and technical support of the CRM applications.
  • Play well with others as a critical team player in a small engineering team with a well-described product backlog and be comfortable with various SDLC methodologies and practices.
  • Learn and understand the end-to-end business processes to ensure delivered solutions solve root cause and meet customer requirements.
  • Adhere to the systems development life cycle procedures and process for development.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet expectations of each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ years of Salesforce/Force.com development and customization experience.
  • Experience on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud is mandatory.
  • Experience on Field Service and Salesforce CPQ is preferrable.
  • Software engineering skills with Force.com; proficient in Apex, Visual Force, SOQL, Unit Testing and LWC.
  • Strong experience with Lightning.
  • Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.) development and use.
  • Proven ability to independently perform development, testing, implementation, documenting and updating as it relates to CRM projects.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of database design and structure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • High capacity and aptitude for learning new technologies as needed.
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Planning beyond the delivery of the project.
  • Able to articulate technical and complex concepts to multiple audiences.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND/OR ABILITIES

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, II.
  • Working experience on Salesforce Sales, Service Cloud
  • Experience with CI/CD.
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ is preferred.
  • Experience on Field Service and Salesforce CPQ is preferrable.
  • Dell Boomi experience is a great plus.
