What you will do 

The Director of Data, Analytics and Reporting will lead the development and management of (PGIM Private Capital’s (PPC) data needs, report building/tools, and analytics capabilities (collectively, “Data”). They would serve PPC’s investment teams and functions as the leader of all Data needs assessment and coordinator of execution/delivery. This individual will collaborate with key partners and stakeholders in the development of a robust, well-controlled data environment, to include managing business requirements for all Data projects, and a low friction (time, cost) development process.

What you can expect 

  • Lead data team, tasked with creating and maintaining clear, accurate, consistent, relevant data governance, definitions and databases supporting all aspects of the business
  • Develop clear business priorities regarding data and reporting objectives.
  • Partner with and lead business and systems teams to develop business requirements and execute projects
  • Collaborate with data users across PPC to develop appropriate data delivery methods (PowerBI training, data set training, creation of standard reports, etc.)
  • Drive automation and standardization of internal and external reporting
  • Leverage workflow capabilities through development of deeper, accurate databases

What you will bring 

  • 8+ years of experience in a related field, required
  • 5+ years relevant experience developing and maintaining a strong data environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and address data and reporting needs of a dynamic business
  • Proven leadership developing a strong, tested data governance infrastructure
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong verbal and writing skills, with ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to assemble and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve high quality business outcomes
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to quickly make smart business decisions
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and report visualization / business intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, Cognos, SSRS+SSIS)
  • Proficient in data processes and field mapping, and reporting design
  • Experienced in organization of master, referential, and transactional data along with metadata classification

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $145,000 to $175,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
