Role and responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the global inventory programs/ roadmap delivering towards efficiency of inventory levels.
  • Contribute to (accuracy of) inventory forecast and scenario based projections to understand operating range compared to targets
  • Define and deploy fact-based action plans to steer inventory proactively in line with targets.
  • Work with operational sectors and business lines management teams to drive business results and inventory levels as desired.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage inventory analytics and develop and adopt leading inventory management capabilities across the organization.

Education and experience

  • Relevant MSc degree, e.g. business administration, supply chain or industrial engineering.
  • 10+ years relevant experience in a large international company (industry and/or consultancy), ideally in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations and/or Customer Support.
  • Good understanding of supply chain (planning) processes and inventory management, preferably in a B2B manufacturing and/or service environment.
  • Experience in project/ program management, preferably in.
  • Affinity with high tech, low volume industry.
