Job Summary:

The Settlement Reconciliation Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of incoming and

outgoing funding reconcilation, reviewing and analyzing financial statements, transactions and

other data to ensure that all information is accurate and complaint with GAAP. The ideal

candidate will have strong analytical, problem solving and mathmatical skills. This role will also

pay close attenttion to detail and be able to identify errors and descrapancies and then resolve

them promptly.

The working hours for this role will be an 8 hour shift sometime between the hours of 7:00 AM

EST – 7:00 PM EST.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve daily audits for multiple processors/products
  • Prepare documentation to adequately document variances and findings for management

review

  • Review and approve funding batches
  • Review and validate monthly invoicing
  • Assist with yearly NACHA and financial audits
  • Research and support interdepartmental and external inquires
  • Update and maintain settlement reconciliation procedures as needed
  • Proactively identify process improvements oppurtunities for internal controls
  • Train and mentor Settlement Operations associates
  • Ad hoc projects upon request
  • Meet all deadlines set by managemet

Competencies:

  • Strong English (written and verbal) communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - both phone and email

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • Prior experience working with US-based financial data and standards (GAAP)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
