Job Description

Sr Hardware Engineer - Team Leader is responsible for:

  • Teaching and coaching Hardware project leaders
  • Manage Hardware Project reviews to understand project status and provide support and/or apply corrective actions
  • Responsible for hiring and firing
  • Analyze overall workload of the team and plan the resource strategy
  • Support acquisitions

Qualifications

Basic:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or related Engineering.
  • 10+ years’ experience in the electronics-engineering field with automotive or aerospace experience preferred. 
  • 3+ years' Project Management experience working with cross functional teams
  • 2+ year's of leadership/management experience
  • Experience should include customer focused product development - user and customer experience.
  • Will require travel up to 15% - domestic and international

Preferred:

  • Experience with software packages CANalyzer, CANape and INCA.
  • Moderation capability/ negotiation capability
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical HW development, specifically circuit design and validation preferred
  • Have a high level of interpersonal skills to work independently and with other team members.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English and preferable in German.
  • Proficient with computers and related software, i.e. MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Project, etc.
  • Proficient with statistical analysis, DOE analysis, product reliability analysis, etc.
