We have embarked in a transformation journey to centralize HR Operations, focusing on improving employee and line manager experience during the employee lifecycle and to help realize this goal, CHANEL is looking for the right talent to join the HR Operations team.

As an Assistant HR Operations Manager, you will be required to lead and manage end-to-end delivery of the teams’ service offerings which includes Employee Data Management, Benefits Administration Services, Contingent Workforce management and other administration services. This involves leading team members and working in close partnership with HR Business Partners, People Experience professionals, Talent Acquisition team and the wider HR organization to ensure satisfactory delivery of service in accordance to our Service Levels. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the team to ensure the smooth end-to end delivery of our service offerings including but not limited to Electronic Data Management, Business Administration Services, Contingent Workforce Management, Learning Management System Administration and other administration tasks.
  • Oversee and supervise team performance to ensure compliance with policies, rules, guidelines and SOPs.
  • Leading team and share best practices to drive change through continuous process improvement, simplification, standardization and automation, whilst managing risk and controls.
  • Own the SLA and KPI compliance of our services and develop analytics capabilities to drive improvement to industry standards and benchmarks as well as cultivate data-driven solutions and decisions.
  • Lead meetings with market ODHR stakeholders / vendors to drive performance, propose improvements and alignments to minimize risks and increase efficiency, whilst enhancing user and employee experience.
  • Partner with Payroll, HR Tech, ODHR stakeholders and other key stakeholders to drive alignment, improvement and efficiency.
  • Maintenance of various employee and benefits system and ensuring the system compliance.
  • Participate in system and data related projects and provide quality advisory service to by optimizing the technology usage and reengineering process
  • Coach team to strengthen skill sets by providing training, guidance and mentoring.

ROLE SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize on a regular basis
  • Project and Change management experience
  • Good knowledge of all MS Office applications
  • Experience of Workday is preferable

ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University graduates preferable in Business Administration/ Human Resources Management with 6-8 years of work experience
  • Business acumen, including the ability to influence and negotiate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience of in-house HR Operations, Insurance & Flexible Benefits administration;
  • Strong experience with leading and managing teams 
  • Experience of working in a service delivery role (preferred) 
  • Good verbal and written English language communication skills, plus one or more of the following languages:
  • Mandarin
  • Cantonese
  • Thai
  • Korean
